Feeling Stronger Everyday

I went away to south Korea to do missionary work back in July due to wanting to take a break from Game Development stuff. When I got back in august, I felt renewed and came back home with a desire to finally finish Arcade Quest. The build of the game uploaded today is a big step towards the final vision of the game. Hopefully the next few updates will make that vision more realized. 

FIRST OFF: 

if I somehow gave you the link to this page and you see this, then that means you're one of the few to see this. You're also one of the few to probably play the older builds.So here's some new shit I added in. 

  • MAJOR CHANGE: you can now finally select which character you'd like to play as. The process is hopefully a little simple  but i can see how some might feel the way it was done seems obtuse. 
  • MAJOR CHANGE: a new mechanic called NEW YORK MINUTE.  Totally changes up how fighting game timers work and rewards players who show great Defense and Offense. Right now it's really basic but i hope you like it 
  • characters can now face the assist opponent if the point character died. 
  • dash attacks are now done by pressing two buttons. I liked the double tap way to preform but it was causing a weird input glitch to occur so this was the result i ended up having to come to.
